Peer-to-Peer Kenya

The mentorship program plays a pivotal role in fostering holistic student growth. It equips students with essential social and emotional skills, empowering them to navigate the challenges of young adulthood with confidence and resilience.

Local students not only empower each other as mentors but also develop global friendships that enhance mutual learning.

Encouraging Student Innovation

Our annual STEM Extravaganza provides students with a unique opportunity to apply their classroom STEM education to make a positive impact on their community.

Students identify local issues and environmental concerns, developing innovative solutions to address them. They collaborate closely with teachers, local community members, and professionals who offer guidance and learning opportunities.

Top projects in the program receive mentoring and support to bring their ideas to life within the community. Through these projects, students are inspired to advocate for their communities using STEM learning as a powerful tool for change.

This initiative encourages students to embrace STEM education and equips them with essential skills for their future.

Menstrual Hygiene

By providing girls with reusable sanitary towels and equipping them with skills to sew pads, we promote menstrual hygiene awareness, resourcefulness, and independence.

This initiative helps girls manage their periods effectively and ensures they can continue with education without interruptions.

We provide opportunities for young people to develop essential technology skills, enabling active participation in STEM learning and fostering collaboration among peers. Technology plays a crucial role in bridging the gap in STEM resources for Taita students, facilitating collaborative learning and enhancing their understanding and visualization of science concepts, as evident in the second photo. Additionally, technology has empowered these students to keep pace with the rapidly changing world of technology.
