Sample Itinerary | 10 Days in Kenya

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by representatives from SeaVuria and Bigfoot Adventures and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Settle in, relax, and recover from your journey.

Day 2: Nairobi City Safari

After breakfast, set out for a full-day city safari experience. Begin with a game drive at Nairobi National Park, where rhinos, lions, and giraffes roam against the backdrop of city skyscrapers. Then visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to meet orphaned baby elephants and end the day at the Giraffe Centre, hand-feeding endangered Rothschild giraffes from an elevated platform.

Day 3: Scenic Train to Voi & Taita Hills Arrival

After breakfast, board the morning train to Voi for a scenic ride through Kenya’s countryside. On arrival, transfer to Salt Lick Safari Lodge—your home base for the next four nights. The lodge offers spectacular wildlife viewing right from your room, thanks to its iconic waterhole.

Days 4–6: Taita-Taveta – Community Engagement & Cultural Exchange

Spend three deeply meaningful days immersed in the communities SeaVuria serves. Activities may include:

  • Visits to partner schools and classrooms

  • Participating in student-led activities

  • Sharing meals with local families

  • Visiting homes and places of worship

  • Donating school supplies or sharing your talents

  • Engaging in project evaluation and conversations with educators and community leaders

Mornings may include short game drives in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, and evenings are reserved for relaxation and reflection at the lodge.

Day 7: Travel to Masai Mara

After breakfast, transport will be arranged to the legendary Masai Mara. The mode of travel—by road, rail, or air—will be confirmed closer to departure to ensure the best possible experience. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic en route game drive as you head to your accommodations. Settle in, relax, and enjoy a delicious dinner as you prepare for the days of adventure ahead.

Day 8-9: Full-Day Masai Mara Safari

Start early for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the wild. Witness the grandeur of the Great Migration (seasonal), spot cheetahs on the prowl, and marvel at elephants at the Mara River. End the day with dinner and stories under the stars.

Day 10: Return to Nairobi & Departure

After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi (approx. 5–6 hours), stopping for lunch en route. You’ll be transferred directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight home.
